The Alerta Sensaflex 4500 SensaGel Heel Slope Mattress is a very high-risk profiling memory foam mattress designed with a high-density foam base, a memory foam top, and a sloping heel section made of gel-infused memory foam. This advanced design provides targeted pressure relief, focusing on the heel zone, making it ideal for users at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers in hospital, nursing, and care home environments.

The heel slope alleviates pressure from the high-risk heel area, helping to redistribute pressure effectively and enhance user comfort. The SensaGel® heel section uses gel-infused memory foam to prevent pressure sores on the heel, promoting optimal skin health. Additionally, the mattress features V-cut base foam, which encourages enhanced air movement for better pressure relief.

This mattress is designed for easy maintenance with a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable PU cover that is water-resistant, antimicrobial, and machine washable. The cover can withstand washing at temperatures up to 95°C and can be tumble dried on low heat. The foam can also be autoclaved at 134°C, ensuring thorough sanitation.
