The Kensington Active Mattress by Harvest Healthcare is a high-performance alternating overlay system designed for patients at high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Ideal for use in both community and residential care settings, this mattress overlay provides advanced pressure relief when placed over an existing static mattress.
Featuring 16 alternating TPU air cells, the system cycles every 10 minutes to effectively offload pressure while maintaining patient comfort. A dedicated pillow section with static cells offers increased stability for the head and shoulders, and all air cells are individually replaceable for simple maintenance.
The Kensington comes with a 4-way stretch welded PU cover, which is vapour permeable, water resistant, and rated to Crib 5 fire safety standards. Lightweight and easy to handle, it is compatible with both Harvest Pump 1 (25 stone/158kg max weight) and Harvest 250 Pump (29 stone/184kg max weight), making it a versatile, cost-effective solution for pressure care management.
