The Evacuation Sheet (NCL-EVS) is a low-profile emergency solution that remains permanently in place underneath an anti-pressure mattress, ready for instant deployment during an evacuation. Designed for use in hospitals, care homes, and community care environments, it allows the entire mattress and patient to be evacuated together - eliminating the need for time-consuming patient transfers.
The sheet attaches securely to the base of a flexible foam mattress using strong elasticated fixings, while safety belts keep the patient safely in place during transit. Pulling straps at both the head and foot ends allow two trained staff to guide the mattress through narrow doorways and down staircases, aided by the sheet’s slippery underside. A head-end holding strap provides control during stair descent.
Integrated strap pockets keep everything tidy and accessible when not in use.
