Marsden M-910 Bed & Trolley Weigher

The Marsden M-910 is a large weighing platform that is designed to weigh patients who are bedridden. This low-profile bed and trolley scale has separate ramps, with a gradual incline, for pushing the trolley or bed onto the weighing area. 

What are Class III Approved scales?

Class III Approved medical scales, like the M-910, are built, tested, verified, and calibrated in order to meet a specific standard. Class III scales must be used ‘in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis, and medical treatment’. Find out more in the NAWI directive. To give the user assurance of accuracy and reliability, an EU notified body will test Approved scales rigorously.

How are bed and trolley weighers typically used?

The M-910 is ideal for use in accident and emergency departments.

In most cases, the M-910 is used to weigh patients as they arrive at the hospital. This scale is particularly useful for weighing patients who cannot stand it.

The M-910 will typically be placed in a permanent location, with the indicator mounted on the wall, so that weighing a patient becomes part of the admission process.

Why should I choose the M-910?

The scale comes with a DP-3810 indicator. The indicator has Hold, BMI, and Tare functions. The Tare function enables the weight of the bed to be deducted, and Preset Tare means you can save the weight of a bed or trolley into the indicator's memory. Therefore, simply roll the patient and trolley onto the scale, press Preset Tare, and the weight of the patient only is displayed on the screen.

The indicator can be mounted on a column or to a wall using the optional bracket. An optional printer is available to have a printed copy of the patient's weight.
