The Marsden M-530 is a high capacity, high accuracy Class III Approved bariatric scale, with a low profile base and a separate indicator for discreet weighing. The Marsden M-530 is Class III Approved scale which means it has been built, tested, verified, and calibrated to a specific standard. The NAWI directive which states all scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis, and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. To become Class III Approved, a scale must go through rigorous testing by an EU notified body.
